Precision Safe Sidewalks removes trip hazards from concrete and asphalt sidewalks to assist cities and municipalities in alleviating trip and fall liability, meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and improving sidewalk assets.  Our approach has been awarded 6 U.S. patents.  We use a horizontal saw to repair trip hazards as small as 1/4 inch (as defined by the ADA) to as high as 2.5 inches.  Municipalities find that our proprietary service is more efficient and costs 15-20% of the cost of conventional methods of trip hazard removal.

Precision Safe Sidewalks uses no heavy equipment.  Each trip hazard removal specialist is equipped with a compact, mobile set up, which the specialist pulls along with him as he repairs each hazard.  A two person crew can remove approximately 1000 hazards in a 10 day period of time with minimal disturbance to business, homeowners, schools or other public venues.

We offer yearly sidewalk programs to help cities and municipalities remove trip hazards, reduce liability and stretch their sidewalk budgets.  As part of this program, we provide you with a detailed map outlining the surveyed areas by year.  Additional detailed invoicing is provided with a specific address, height and width of every trip hazard removed.  One option we offer in the sidewalk program is including a survey of cracked, spalling or panels that need to be removed and replaced.

    EDGE-TO-EDGE TREATMENT:

    Repairs are made across the full width of the sidewalk panel without injuring trees or damaging walls, fences, poles, sprinkler heads, or other obstacles.

    DUST ABATEMENT SYSTEM:

    Precision Safe Sidewalks exclusively uses a patented dust containment system that captures approximately 85% of the dust.  After completing each repair, we then clean up and remove all debris.  This is especially useful in downtown or high traffic areas.

    OSHA APPROVED SAFETY EQUIPMENT:

    Precision Safe Sidewalks uses safety equipment specified by OSHA including respirators, hearing protection, full face shields, gloves, steel toed shoes, and approved safety vests.
