Handicap Ramp Repair

Light Pole & Multi Panel Repair

Grinding - Damaged Adjacent Panel & Hazard Remains

Removal & Replacement is Expensive & Time Consuming

Precision Safe Sidewalks removes trip hazards from concrete and asphalt sidewalks to assist communities in alleviating trip and fall liability, meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and improving community assets.  Our approach has been awarded 6 U.S. patents.  We use a horizontal saw to repair trip hazards as small as 1/4 inch (as defined by the ADA) to as high as 2.5 inches.  Municipalities find that our proprietary service is more efficient and costs 15-20% of the cost of conventional methods of trip hazard removal.

Removing hazards up to 2.5 inches in height means we deal with hazards a full inch and a half higher than what most grinding crews would attempt.  Municipalities that grind up to an inch and replace over an inch face a combined cost of repair significantly greater than that of our saw cut method.

Precision Safe Sidewalks does not grind or pulverize concrete.  Grinders can cause crevices and pitting, resulting in further damage and deterioration to the concrete due to water retention in the low, uneven spots.  Grinders often leave partial hazards at the edges of a sidewalk panel, which means after  you've paid for a repair, you are still left with the liability.

Precision Safe Sidewalks guarantees there will be no damage to any adjacent or surrounding concrete, landscaping, utility covers, retaining walls or otherwise.  Damage often results from heavy equipment such as demolition back hoes or trucks on the sidewalk.

Precision Safe Sidewalks uses no heavy equipment.  Each trip hazard removal specialist is equipped with a compact, mobile set up, which the specialist pulls along with him as he repairs each hazard.  A two person crew can remove approximately 100 hazards in a day with minimal disturbance to business, homeowners, schools or other public venues.

Precision Safe Sidewalks supports municipalities and private communities that care about sustainability and the environment.

  • Compact, portable equipment means no heavy trucks and exhaust plus reduced fuel consumption.
  • Patented dust containment reduces construction dust in your community and removed concrete is recycled.
  • Quality repair of existing sidewalks means less waste and debris.
  • Safer sidewalks in your neighborhoods means they will get more ongoing use and we know that more pedestrian traffic is healthier for the environment.

    Service Specifications

Precision Safe Sidewalks guarantees that each repair will have a zero point of differential between slabs - meaning the joint of each repair will be precisely flush the full width of the slab.

Precision Safe Sidewalk's repair leaves smooth, uniform, flat, and aesthetically appealing results with the precise, slip resistant repair slope that exceeds OSHA requirements and meets ADA specifications.

Repairs are made across the full width of the sidewalk panel without injuring trees or damaging walls, fences, poles, sprinkler heads, or other obstacles.

Precision Safe Sidewalks exclusively uses a patented dust containment system that captures approximately 85% of the dust.  After completing each repair, we then clean up and remove all debris.  This is especially useful in downtown or high traffic areas.

Precision Safe Sidewalks uses safety equipment specified by OSHA including respirators, hearing protection, full face shields, gloves, steel toed shoes, and approved safety vests.

You'll receive information on the location, height, and length of every repair -- all powerful information to show efforts to comply with the ADA.
